Born and raised in Hobart, I have always been inspired by our city's unique blend of heritage, culture, and community spirit. As an Alderman of Hobart City Council, my mission is to ensure our city remains not only beautiful and vibrant but also economically strong and socially inclusive.

With over 25 years running my accounting practice, Bloomfield & Associates, I have a deep understanding of responsible financial management and economic sustainability. My experience has taught me the importance of balancing careful financial stewardship with bold vision, supporting small businesses that form the backbone of our local economy.

My vision for Hobart is simple yet ambitious: a city that thrives through thoughtful investment in infrastructure, active support for local businesses, and a steadfast commitment to community wellbeing. Keeping streets free of potholes and maintaining neatly mown grass verges are equally important, ensuring that residents feel pride in the areas they call home.

Hobart faces challenges—traffic congestion, infrastructure gaps, and the pressures of a growing population. I believe the solutions lie in clear, practical planning. By prioritizing essential infrastructure projects, we can alleviate traffic snarls and ensure Hobart remains accessible and convenient for residents and visitors alike.

My role in founding the Confederation of Greater Hobart Business demonstrates my unwavering commitment to advocating policies that create a supportive environment for small businesses to flourish.

Through my role as Chair of the Disability Access Committee, I strive to ensure every citizen, regardless of ability, can participate fully in community life.
